Michigan Tent and Party Rentals - Policies

We may require you to call and schedule a Miss Dig service a couple of days before the event. This is a free service and will help us miss any underground water, electrical or gas lines.

Choosing Equipment:

Michigan Tent and Party Rentals rents all equipment on a first come first serve basis. Receipt of a quote is NOT a guarantee of equipment reserved. Once you decide on equipment we will generate an invoice. We require a deposit of 50% down and a signed contract to generate an invoice. Signed contracts can be done in person, faxed, emailed or mailed. Deposits can be put on credit card by phone to expedite order. Equipment will not be held without an invoice, contract and deposit.

Inclement Weather:

We ask that you have alternative plans in case of inclement weather. If weather looks bad we will contact you in the morning of your event. Please keep in mind tent units cannot be operated in winds over 40 mph. As long as you cancel before our driver leaves the warehouse your non-refundable deposit will be applied to any future event for a period of one year.

Final Contact:

We generally contact you the Friday before your event to confirm details. Our staff member will confirm final payment, method of payment, space requirements, delivery times, etc.

Please Note:

Drivers do not go up and down stairs. Setup location should be easily accessible from the delivery truck. All units require a flat surface and a standard electrical outlet within 100 feet if renting electrical items.

Power Requirements:

Customer is responsible for power. Special power requirements will be noted on your contract. Michigan Tent Rentals is NOT liable for problems due to power issues.

Set Up:

We require someone at the event to show us where to set up. WE DO NOT SET-UP ON BLACKTOP OR CEMENT SURFACES, your surface must be grass or hard-packed dry dirt. We will need to know if there is a sprinkler system in the lawn. Sprinkler heads must be flagged before set-up, we are not responsible for sprinkler line damage. Also, drivers are required to pick up final payment at set up unless you have made arrangements to charge a credit card the previous business day. Failure to make this payment could result in your equipment not being set-up.

Damages:

Customer is responsible for all damages to rental equipment while in your possession. Our driver will have you sign our Equipment Condition agreement after set-up.

Early Shut Down: If your event ends early, please call the phone # on your paperwork to arrange an earlier pick-up if available. There are no refunds due to early pick up for any reason.

Proof-of-Insurance:

Tents set-up on municipal property may require Proof-of-Insurance to be submitted. Ask Michigan Tent Rentals for a copy or instruct us where to submit before your scheduled set-up.

Customer Pickups:

We allow customers to pick up certain items. Equipment Condition agreement needs to be signed before equipment can be released.

Thank you for choosing Michigan Tent and Party Rentals for your entertainment needs!
